Yoga Nidra means “sleep with a trace of awareness”. It is an ancient technique for complete relaxation of physical, mental and emotional layers of oneself. Yoga Nidra is a simplified version of ancient Tantric Kriya(s), designed by Swami Satyananda of Bihar school in India.
At this workshop, led by Shehla, you will learn the classic techniques (body scan, breath awareness, and visualizations), philosophy and principles of Yoga Nidra, and how to write your own Yoga Nidra script. This workshop is perfect for yoga teachers, medical practitioners and anyone wishing to deepen their practice.
A lovingly prepared, vegetarian, Ayurvedic-inspired lunch will be provided for all participants. Tea, water, and fruit will also be offered. Kindly let us know of any food allergies 1 week prior to the workshop.
